for centuries migration has affected and changed the destiny of humanity. There is hardly anything that tells us so fascinating about what it means for people and societies as the personal memories of the emigrants and immigrants:
Follow in our renewed and extended exhibition unknown life stories from Europe and the world. Discover the everyday life of emigrants: in the country of arrival and the history of the Federal Republic through the eyes of immigrants. And explore new perspectives in innovative digital – and analog – thinking spaces.
Welcome to a journey through time that will change your view of the world!
It is not necessary to reserve specific time slots in advance or book your tickets online. These are available on-site directly at the Museum ticket office.
We kindly ask all visitors from the age of 6 to wear a medical mouth-nose-protection (or a FFP2-mask) during your entire visit to the museum. Thank you for your support.
We wish you a pleasant stay at the German Emigration Center!
